...for the family. i'm excited to finally be able to share
our exciting news & how we decided to tell the people
closest to us. we wanted a handmade gift to share with the
family to help announce our little bun in the oven, baby m :)
so, i made the cards with a poem written on the inside
& then hand stitched onesies with the quote 'tiny little thing
great big blessing' for each person. the best gift of all was
watching everyone open their gifts as they read the card
& the priceless looks on each person's face. awesome &
many more great things, fun adventures & handmade/
creative things to come. such an exciting time in jeff & my life :)
...to the room. the dresser was a gift from my uncle, so sweet & it matches the contemporary crib. love the two tone solid birch with white drawer fronts, it will also serve as a changing table. next are a couple pieces of artwork that will be added to the baby's art wall. the first is an oil painting that was in my mom's room as a child. the next was an antique store find, a cute paint by numbers that goes with the woodsy inspired items, i reframed it & it looks much more modern. finally a 3d piece from ikea that i love, changed the paper backing from purple to orange & it inspired the mobile i'll be making to hang above the crib.
