Just one of the reasons...

...i love your dad, ms. m. he gets me flowers for no reason at all. he's a very special guy for so many reasons, i waited a long time to find someone as loving, caring & thoughtful as him. i'm so thankful he came into my life & even more grateful that he will be a huge part of your life forever as your dad :)

This weekend...

...joey took a nap in your rocker (his favorite spot :)). i got you this cute outfit from a lovely antique store. your furry brothers participated in their favorite daily activity, stalking squirrels & we went to white rock lake. finally your mimi came over & helped get your room organized. we're excited for you to get here :)

...is ready for you maebri, see you in 2 months :)

Fun weekend...

...in Abilene with Jeff's family & friends to celebrate his sister's graduation & Maebri's arrival. There was a lot going on, but it was so much fun! we stayed with great friends, attended a fundraising event sporting our cowboy boots, had a graduation party to go to, as well as ms. m's shower. We got the most thoughtful gift from his sweet grandparents...they refurbished the old rocking horse his great grandpa had made him, so cool & now Maebri can ride it when she gets older :)

A celebration...

...for our little girl on the way, Maebri. We are beyond excited for her to get here & wanted to have a party to celebrate her arrival. We had all of our closest friends & loved ones over this weekend, it was so much fun! The decorations my mom & i worked on turned out beautiful, the nesting dolls art project was a hit (probably due to the cocktails) & the food/dessert was so yummy. Jeff & i are so thankful for the wonderful friends & family that joined us this weekend & who have been there for us during this exciting time, couldn't ask for anything more!

New rug...

...added to the dining room. got it for christmas, but have been waiting to get the carpets professionally cleaned (due to the large amount of rescue dogs that i've had in my house in the last year that weren't all potty trained it desperately needed it. gotta love them though...shelter dogs are the best :)) before i put it down. it's really simple, but most importantly durable. i think it looks great, very happy with the addition.

Shelves...

...are decorated. i'm sure they will change in the next couple months, but its a start. like the rest of the room, i made sure to add a lot of color, as well as old, new & family items. it's a special room for a special little girl, so it needs to feel like that :)
