Life is good...

...& it's only going to get better. the trees are bloomed & so pretty right now. joey in his handmade jacket & angelo with his crackle sak, both made by one of the sweetest rescue people i know, as well as the only other person who has the italian greyhound/heeler combo. i'm 34, almost 35 weeks & so happy maebri's arrival is getting closer.

Wondering...

...what our little maebri is going to look like. About 6 weeks left & we are getting more & more excited to see her with each passing day.  the first pic is one of jeff & i when we were little, makes me smile :) we debated getting the 3D pics done, but did it anyway & i'm glad we did. we had it done over a month ago so she has put on quite a bit more weight since then, it was so cool to see her. she was holding onto her ear the whole time & with her other hand holding onto her foot, so cute :) can't wait to hold you ms. m...

Happenings...

...last weekend. Got these amazing organic cotton booties from new zealand, they tie in the front & will be a great lightweight alternative to socks in the summer. got this pretty little ethnic dress in that she can wear next spring hopefully to my sister's wedding. my mom got ms. m these boots from santa fe, have been looking for some just like this so it was a nice surprise. went to a beautiful wedding, hung out with the boys, went to the lake, got some items like our stroller put together & took a pic of me at 33 weeks. a lot more to look forward to in a month & a half...our little girl.

Memorial weekend...

...you got the most thoughtful gift from one of our friends, your first embroidered item, an adorable blanket that matches your crib skirt. we are so thankful for all the gifts friends & family have gotten you but i always appreciate crafty items & attention to detail, when people think outside the box, makes it that much more special. we fixed up the bathroom a bit with new rugs & towels & got you your first pair of little toms at a sale this weekend, so cute! your mimi also got you some adorable mocassins that i've been wanting for you from santa fe, can't wait to put you in them. not much longer :)

Just one of the reasons...

...i love your dad, ms. m. he gets me flowers for no reason at all. he's a very special guy for so many reasons, i waited a long time to find someone as loving, caring & thoughtful as him. i'm so thankful he came into my life & even more grateful that he will be a huge part of your life forever as your dad :)

This weekend...

...joey took a nap in your rocker (his favorite spot :)). i got you this cute outfit from a lovely antique store. your furry brothers participated in their favorite daily activity, stalking squirrels & we went to white rock lake. finally your mimi came over & helped get your room organized. we're excited for you to get here :)
